Your files stay with you.
The application processes selected files inside your browser. It does not send your selected file contents, filenames, folder paths, review labels, or scan results to a server.
File access and processing
You choose the folder the app can read. It indexes file facts, hashes eligible duplicate candidates, reads small supported files for metadata, and previews files you open. Optional content analysis reads supported text within stated limits. The app requests read access and has no source-file write or deletion operations.
Session memory
The working file index, extracted metadata, content index, review labels, saved searches, pinned destinations, and temporary previews stay in memory. This version does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB to retain your work. The website uses one localStorage setting to remember only your light or dark display preference. It contains no filenames, folder paths, file contents, scan results or review labels. Clearing site data removes this preference. Reloading or closing the page clears the working session. Your browser may independently remember its own permissions or download history.
Exports you choose
Reports and snapshots are created locally when you choose a download. A review report can include filenames, relative paths, hashes, dates, and labels. A snapshot stores file facts rather than source contents. Your browser writes downloaded reports to your chosen download location. The app does not upload them.
Website delivery
The website is served by Vercel when deployed there. Loading a page sends ordinary web requests to the hosting service, which may process IP addresses, user-agent information, requested URLs, and operational logs. Browser-local file processing is separate from those website requests. Do not put private file information into page URLs.
Analytics and external links
This version includes no analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or third-party fonts. External documentation links navigate only when you choose them; those sites have their own privacy practices.
